This little series just keeps getting more interesting, with these tiny peeks, little literary bites of their story. It has both immediacy and validity. With each segment/episode we care more about this couple and thier plight.

Thanks, Glenn. Say, when are you planning on taking a job in acquisitions for a major New York publisher?

Yeah, wouldn't that be a hoot?
Maybe this summer, during my seven day weekends, I will correspond more with you and find out if I can be involved in some manner with and/or on Ghoti. I find it very interesting that when I first discovered your work last year, your promo and bio mentioned that you had this blog, but did not have too much Activity on it. Now that I haunt it regularly, you have been kind enough to respond to my innane querries, and now others who peek in (check your counter hits) get more of an insight into the real Courtney; poet, writer, teacher, husband,
and like that. Thanks, sincerely, for your openness and welcoming tone to those of us interested in you and your work.

The thing about Ghoti is it's pretty much just me and a buddy or two. Our new issue, for example, was just about all Chris Fullerton's doing, though I read some for it and my wife and I did the formatting. But it was Chris' idea and he pretty much took the lead and solicited quite a few folks for it, including the cover artist. It's the best issue we've had in quite a while.

What I mean is that Ghoti's pretty loose. We don't self-publish creative work, for the most part, but otherwise, we just do whatever strikes our fancies, as long as the quality is maintained. We've published special issues with plays and various themes like work and now Rock 'N' Roll. So if you have an idea for something you'd like to do, let me know and we'll see what we can see. We're always looking for non-fiction or ideas for theme issues. We're really looking to do something a little more interesting, too. Not sure what...
