Both of these poems are out there, into the realm of abstract thought, sychronicity, and mysterious links. I posted them both on FFTR, of course, and read them several times. MAGPIES comes off as the deeper of the two for me, taking us to landscapes never seen. LOUD NEIGHBORS is an urban message, yes, but with your rural upbringing, still it rings with the alacrity of a poet submerged in the senses of the city. Yet I wondered if it would work, on a slightly different scale there in Riceland?
