MOUTH is quite a tale; loved posting it on FFTR. Really fakes out the reader for the first couple of paragraphs, made me re-read several times to make sure you were taking me to one of your alien landscapes, your Kafka country imagination. Yet the read is smooth, and by the midpoint, you have us hooked by the world you've created, and we've accepted. Actually the piece is upbeat in a downbeat sort of way. Really liked it; congrats.
Thanks Glenn. "Mouth" is the kind of story I should be writing everyday. It took a couple years to get picked up. Editors SAY they want something different, but send them something different, and see what happens...
